Retro MOP Bangle / Bracelet
What you'll need:
- Approx. 20cm approx 0.6mm wire (any type).
- 6 Pink MOP (mother of pearl) beads.
- 6 White bugle beads.
- Approx. 12 silver beads.
- Round nose pliers (or, anything with a fine tip)
- Cutting pliers.
Notes: What a cute little bracelet! Substiture other beads for MOP if you like, and experiment with different coloured bugle beads. If you use memory wire, the clasp may not be needed. Likewise, if you make it big enough to slip over your hand, just join the two loops with out adding the clasp.
Why I love this design: Quick, easy and quirky. Should take between 5 - 30min.
- Make a loop (approx 3mm in diametre) at one end of your wire using your round nose pliers. Begin to slide the beads on in this order:Silver : Bugle : Silver : MOP : Repeat (as shown).
- Continue to add your beads. Leave about 6mm at the end, and make a loop. Leave a small gap in the loop, to slip the clasp on.
- Slide the clasp on over the loop (as shown). Close the loop using your pliers.
- Your bracelet is ready to wear!
