How quickly do you ship?
Same or next business day (after payment clears). International orders sometimes take a day or two longer (as we do not go to the Post Office every day).

How long will my order take to arrive?
We usually post the same or next business day after payment has cleared. We usually ship very small orders as letter post (usually 1 – 2 days transit time after payment clears). But most orders are sent by parcel post (1 - 5 business days transit time after payment clears). The closer you are to Brisbane (where we are located) the faster your order will arrive.

Here's an example:
Nicole orders $40 worth of beads on Monday Night. She gets her order confirmation email within a few minutes of ordering. This email contains the payment information. Nicole decides to pay via Direct Deposit. She has a National Bank Account, and pays Tuesday afternoon. As she is paying from a non-Commonwealth account, the payment takes up to 3 days to clear. So lets say the payment cleared Friday afternoon.

We check for payments in the morning, so we see that Nicole has paid on Saturday. We pack up her order and post it off. Now we can't control how long the Post takes. It usually takes about 3 days. But has taken up to a 6 business days (for more remote locations). Nicole lives in Melbourne, so let's say it takes 3 days to arrive.

That means Nicole receives her items on Wednesday. That's a week and a couple of days after ordering.

On the other hand, if Nicole lived in Brisbane and paid by direct deposit using a Commonwealth Bank Account see below, her order could arrive as early as that Wednesday - 2 days after ordering.

How can I reduce the time my order takes?
Paying by direct deposit from a Commonwealth bank account is by far the fastest. Payments usually clear within 24 hours, if not right away.

PayMate takes about 2 days to clear. Money order is by far the slowest, as you have to take into account the time it takes for the money order to get here, then bank clearance, then posting the order out to you.

Can I have my order sent by express post?
Yes, please email us immediately after you place your order and we'll email back the updated total. We do not guarantee next day delivery however, as we still must wait for payment to clear.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Do you accept international orders?
Yes! We will ship anywhere in the world, so long as payment can be made by credit card (cheques, cash, money orders and direct deposit are NOT accepted for orders from outside Australia).

What are the postage costs for international orders?
Please see above under 'Postage Costs'.

What Currency are your prices in?
All our prices are in Australian dollars. We have set up a currency conversion tool next to each price, that will display the cost in your countries currency as well.

Do you have a printed catalog and price list?
No, all our stock is listed on the website. We update our stock too often to be able to maintain a printed catalog.

Do I have to enter my email address?
Yes, otherwise you will not receive your order confirmation. If you pay by PayMate (by following the link from the shopping cart), you do not need to enter your email address. But if we have any problems with your order, it is easiest and quickest to contact you through email. We do not sell any of your information to third parties, and your information is kept completely private.

Do you have... [insert bead name here]?
All our stock is listed on the website, so if you can't find it, we don't have it. However we are always open to suggestions, as we are continuously expanding our product range. We might be putting together a new order for our suppliers at the time of your email, so we will consider your suggestion.

How many beads per strand?
This is an approximate number of beads per strand. It is based on the standard strand length, 40cm/16inch. Shorter strands, such as hand-cut beads, will have slightly less beads per strand.

How do I pay by Paypal?
You can pay by Paypal at the time of placing your order through our shopping cart. You will be taken to Paypal's secure website to enter your details. If you would prefer to pay by paypal at a later time, you can do that too: log into your paypal account and select 'send money'. Enter info@mybeads.com.au as the recipient. Select currency as Australian Dollars and enter your order total. Press 'send money' and you're done!
