Mother of Pearl comes from the shell of a pearl shell. It has a beautiful high luster, similar to pearls. Generally one side of the bead is more lusterous than the other, that's why flat shapes are more common. Our MOP beads come in vibrant colours, however please note that due to the camera flash on the pearly surface, some beads appear lighter in colour than they actually are.
